Dia de los Muertos partygoers on Reforma.

The Last Car, is my first book and is being published by the lauded art/photography publishers Kehrer Verlag (https://www.kehrerverlag.com).  It will be available Spring of 2018. The book explores modern day gay street life in Mexico City. The name relates to the the vast and sprawling brutalist metro system, the Western Hemisphere's second largest, where the last car after 10pm developed into a gay cruising ground. As I discovered this urban legend to be absolutely true, the biggest surprise was finding out how lively and accepting gay life is on the streets and in the clubs that make up this teeming capital city...from the gay epi-center of Zona Rosa where trains empty out into boisterous streets and techno booming postage stamp sized clubs, to the leafy green elegant art nouveau avenues that line Condesa.
